The Amazing Westwoodside Pumpkin Giveaway is complete! A bunch of the Pond Lights guys jumped in a quad/ grabbed 150 pumpkins and bags of sweets, along with one of the bales from the pumpkin bales display on Doncaster Road, and set off around the village.

We were greeted with smile, merriment and excitement from the kids of the village as the smiling pumpkin turned up on their doorstep fetching not only a free pumpkin to carve up for Halloween, but a bag of sweets, too! It's the little things in life!

So, with 150 houses visited/ pumpkins and sweet bags delivered, the team put the smiling bale back on Doncaster Road, all the vehicles back in Jones Engineering's yard, and head off to The Loco pub in Haxey for a well earned pint, and a pizza!

Next up then, the Pond Lights Switch-On on Friday December 1st, 2023; starting at 6pm. There's sure to be a great turnout, once again, to get the festive season started in style!
