What a party! FABBA and Lenny delivered in style; from virtually the off, the dance floor was full! The FABBA girls, were literally that; Fab! Party goers reviews were excellent, from "Do it again!" to "What a night!" and "My feet are killing from dancing so much!"

Next up - The Christmas Light-Up 2024!

Wow! Yet another fabulous day for our Easter Egg Trail! Who'd have thought it with all the horribly wet weather so far in 2024! The sun was shining, which brought a fabulous turn-out of local families - We initially brought 250 Easter eggs, but had to go find another couple of dozen as so many people joined in!

If you came along and joined in, we hope you had just as much fun as we did, and we can't wait to see you at our next event - Our 2024 Race Night in Westwoodside Village Hall!

The Amazing Westwoodside Pumpkin Giveaway is complete! A bunch of the Pond Lights guys jumped in a quad/ grabbed 150 pumpkins and bags of sweets, along with one of the bales from Pumpkin bales from Doncaster Road and set off around the village.

What a stunning day! The weather was certainly with us!
Another successful Films in the Field event! We had pizza n ice cream from Wallace and Dough, Fish n chips from Your Plaice or Mine, posh coffees, hot chocolate and cake from Brewpark Coffee, and not forgetting the Pond Lights Bar.

Obviously the whole thing centres around the amazing movie screen, kindly provided by that stalwart of PA, DJ'ing, lighting, stage and screen setups and supplying: Mr Lenny Lowe!

Thanks to all who came, had a lovely day, and supported both the Films in the Field event, and the Pond Lights organisation.

Westwoodside was, once again, up for a right-good-shindig! Fretwell's Farm, Westwoodside, was turned into the perfect Barn Dance setting - featuring the New Fox Band, Maria's Dancealong Line Dancing, DJ Lenney, Peet Jackson on acoustic guitar and vocals, the Pond Lights' Bar, with food provided by "Your Plaice or mine" Fish n Chips, and "Piggy Joe's Hog Roast", and much more; it was the event not to miss!

Over 350 revellers came and partied the night away - the dance floor filled from start to finish; bellies were filled/ glasses emptied and filled again (and again! Hic!) And how could we forget; the poshest bathrooms known to mankind (they even had moisturiser!)

Yet another winner from the Westwoodside Pond Lights, in conjunction with Fretwell's Farm and the Westwoodside School PTA! All funds raised go to either the School PTA, or towards putting on further funded events for the village.

Another absolute stunner of a day!
The weather was certainly on our side! With trails set/ easter eggs bought/ the pub prepped, we welcomed a great turnout from the families of Westwoodside, Haxey, the Isle, and beyond... The route saw the children trundling around the village on a gentle one-and-a-half mile route (with a slightly more adventurous off-road alternative for those who fancied seeing a little bit more of the beautiful village scenery!)

Over 220 Easter Eggs and several boxes of Cadbury's Cream Eggs later (the cream eggs kindly donated by Ajay and Adam of Westwoodside Stores/ Premier), everybody retired the The Carpenters Arms for a well earned drink, chips and hot-dogs, and a play in the beer garden.

All in all, a wonderful afternoon and a terrific turn-out by one and all.

After a full-day taking down the previous tree lights, getting saturdated after falling in the pond, then replacing with 100m of new warm LED lights, the 2022 Pond Lights Lght-up evening went ahead, full-steam!
