FAQ'S:
-
Is there a bar?
Yup, there's a pretty well stocked bar, with a Happy Hour with £1 off all alcoholic beverages for the duration of the happy hour
-
Can we bring our our alcoholic drinks?
Regrettably, no. Not just because the Barn Dance is a fun raising event for charities and the Westwoodside Pond Lights events, but also because we have a Temporary Event Licence which doesn't cover us for the consumption of alcohol not purchased on site
-
Is there any parking at the event?
Yup. And it's free! Simply head on into the farm and our car-herders will point you in the right direction
-
Can I leave my car overnight?
Whilst we cannot accept any responsibility for your car or indeed any possessions inside, you are free to leave your vehicle and pick it up no later than 12:00 noon/ midday on the Sunday; this is after all still a working farm!
- What time does it start/ finish?
Gates open at 6:30pm. For Taxi booking purposes, we'd suggest using an 11:00pm finish.
- Which payment methods are available?
Cash, cards, watches, anything but bartering (ie no sheep/ bales of straw, or hay, will be accepted)
- Does the hog roast cater for food allergies and intollerences?
We're pleased to say that Ian, our fabulous hog roast guy, can offer jacket potato with Quorn chilli and cheese as a vegetarian option. We're still working on allergens/ intollerences.
- Can I get a discount if I don't want a hog roast?
With regret, we're not able to offer discounts*
*although contact us direct if you feel this is unfair in your particular situation
- Do we/ Should we dress up?
Absolutely - this is a barn dance and, whilst there are no prizes for fancy dress/ cowboy dress, there's nothing like getting the party started before you ever get here! Cowbody/ Barn Dance attire hightly recommended. AND there's a photo set ready for you to show off your nifty attire, or hide inside the Jail so nobody can see it's really you!
- Where do the profits/ funds go?
ALL monies raised from this/ these events go directly to both charities and to help put on the annual Westwoodside Pond Lights Christmas light-up event
